Fintona is an open entry girls' school from Prep to Year 12 and also offers a co-educational Early Learning Centre. We welcome students to join us at any stage of their schooling. We have limited places at all year levels from Prep to Year 12, with major intakes at 3-year-old Kindergarten, Prep, Year 5 (commencement of Middle School) and Year 7.

We realise that choosing a school for your child can be a daunting decision and that is why we encourage and welcome all prospective families to visit Fintona during one of our Tour Mornings or on Open Day. Application Process

As Fintona is a non-selective school, girls are placed on our enrolment list according to the date on which we receive your application. As our positions fill up quickly, we recommend sending the Application Form back accompanied by the non-refundable Application Fee of $110.00 for local students or $220 for international students (including GST), as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You will then be automatically placed on our waiting list. Fintona will contact you 18 months prior to the year of entry to advise whether a place is available. If a place is offered, then an interview will be arranged between the Principal with the student and her family. A non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $800 inclusive of GST($500 for ELC students), per family, is paid at time of confirmation of enrolment.
