What Scholarships do we offer?

Fintona is proud to offer Academic and Music Scholarships for students who demonstrate outstanding ability. Academic and Music Scholarships are available to students entering Years 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Fintona also offers Scholarships in specialist areas of the Arts, Science/Maths, Humanities, Literature and LOTE (Language Other than English) to students entering Years 9, 10 and 11.

Scholarships to Fintona are highly valued and seen by the School as an important avenue for ensuring that as many girls as possible have an opportunity to receive an outstanding education.

Scholarships are offered to applicants on the basis of their performance in an edutest examination, their previous school reports and an interview with the Principal.

Music scholarships, are offered to applicants on the basis of their performance in an edutest examination, an audition, and an interview with the Principal.

Who can apply?

Fintona students as well as students from other schools may apply for the Academic, Music and Specialist Scholarships.

When do applications close?

Applications have already closed for entry into 2010.
