$110.00 (inclusive of GST) Kindergarten to Year 12
Enrolment Fee
Non refundable, payable on acceptance of offer
$500.00 Kindergarten

Entry to K4, Pre-Prep(Young Thinkers) and Prep
Due to high demand and limited places, progression into K4, Pre-Prep and Prep is not guaranteed. Parents will be asked to confirm their intention for the forward year and pay a $1,000 deposit on the forward year's tuition. The deposit will be credited to the forward year's tuition but is not refundable if the place is not taken up.
Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees and the ICT Levy are due and billed in three instalments, October, February and June. Late payment will attract a late payment fee of $100 per month until cleared in full. Fees paid annually in advance attract a 3% discount on tuition fees only (not on Camp or ICT levy) and are due in full by 31 October of the previous year. Ancillary charges are billed as they are incurred and are payable within 30 days of invoice date. Some ancillary charges require prepayment.
The School reserves the right, which may be exercised at any time, to refuse to allow a student to continue her/his education at Fintona whilst fees remain unpaid.
Parents must give Fintona one full term's notice in writing to the Principal, of intention to remove a student or one term's fees (25% of the annual fee) must be paid in lieu of notice. For removal at the end of the school year, notice must be given before the end of Term 3. A term's notice in writing or payment in lieu is also required to withdraw a student from ancillary programs such as Music, Rowing and Swimming.
Based on the current levels of government funding, the Fintona Board has approved the scale of fees for the 2010 School Year. Fintona reserves the right to change fees at any time.
Scholarships
Scholarship fee remissions apply to tuition fees only and do not apply to the Camps and Excursions levy, the ICT levy or ancillary charges. Music scholarship recipients receive a percentage remission of tuition fees and one half hour music lesson per week with a Fintona teacher.
Camps and Excursions
The Camps and Excursion charge relates to compulsory camps and excursions that occur throughout the year. These activities are compulsory for all students and as Fintona incurs these costs in the current year, these charges are invoiced with the first fee instalment. Refunds are not applicable for non-participation in Camps or compulsory Excursions.
Holding Fees
Where a student leaves the School for a period, or where entry is deferred after a place has been confirmed, the place will be held on payment of a Holding Fee. The Holding Fee is 25% of the Tuition Fee for that year. Advice in writing to the Principal is required at least one full term in advance of the student's return; however, six months' notice is preferred to assist forward planning.
The Holding Fee is credited to the Tuition Fee on the student's return to the School. The Holding Fee is non refundable should the student not return to the School after having a place held for her.
ICT- Information Communication Technology Levy
Fintona is not a laptop School and, therefore, parents at Fintona do not need to purchase a laptop computer for their daughters. Instead, an integrated system of desktop and laptop computers provided by the School is seen as the most equitable and cost effective way of providing up-to-date technology for students. A levy is charged at each year level to cover costs associated with ICT.
Family Discount
Tuition Fee discounts apply for families with three or more daughters in the School.
A 20% discount of the Tuition Fee is available to a third sibling and subsequent siblings. The discount is automatically applied by the School through the billing process.
