Young Thinkers Program

We are delighted to introduce our new Young Thinkers Pre-Prep Program commencing in 2010.

Taking inspiration from our modern, naturalistic world and insights gained over many years of experience in early education, we have designed a Young Thinkers program for four- and five-year-old girls and boys.This unique five day program, with its emphasis on environmental science, is rich in opportunities for developing language, numeracy, art, music, drama and dance.

Curious minds want to find out how things work. Through child-initiated projects, and the use of natural materials, our Young Thinkers will explore, discuss and test their understanding of the world around them. Access to digital photography and mobile audio visual equipment will help our young students to plan and record their experiences. Our goal is to promote innovative, creative thinking in every child preparing them for the next important phase in their educational journey.

Our Young Thinkers program is well suited to children who would benefit from an additional year of early education prior to commencing formal schooling. It also provides the opportunity for the extension of skills and experiences for all children who attend the program.

Our beautiful new, architect-designed building will provide exciting scope for the new program in many ways:

Purpose built studios for art and science projects will ensure creative minds are nurtured. A multi-purpose room with state-of-the-art technology will allow for opportunities to engage in a wide range of experiences A garden specifically designed to allow hands on participation will encourage a love of the environment.

Our Young Thinkers program is a five day program and will operate from 8.45 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
