What our parents say about FintonaI like the smallness of the School and the academic results continue to impress.

Technology
A seamless integration into our programs
Fintona's aim is to integrate technology in the day-to-day school experience. It is used in the learning programs from ELC to Year 12 as a tool to capture, extend and enhance learning opportunities.
The ELC has a range of resources strategically placed throughout the facility, including an Interactive Whiteboard. All PYP (Prep to Year 6) classrooms are equipped with online computers, an Interactive Whiteboard and digital cameras. Additional computers form part of the online learning environment in the Junior School Library. From Years 4 to 8, students are taught Information Technology skills explicitly, and at Years 9 and 10, students are provided with the opportunity to study Information Technology-based subjects. Two computer rooms are available for class bookings, and computers and Interactive Whiteboards have been placed in key learning spaces in the Senior School; two portable class sets of notebook computers are also available.
An online learning platform has recently been introduced, allowing students from Year 5 onwards to work collaboratively and access resources from home and at school. Fintona's students are not required to purchase a laptop computer for use at school.
