Fintona Parents' Association
The Fintona Parents' Association (FPA) is a group of volunteer and enthusiastic parents who organise social and fundraising functions for the Fintona Community.
Social functions include such activities as morning teas for new parents, the annual ELC Cocktail Party, the ELC to Year 4 BBQ and year level social gatherings.
Fundraising functions include the management of the Swap Shop, a second-hand text book sale and an FPA Luncheon.
The FPA meet one Monday every month during school terms and all interested parents of the School community are welcome to attend. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to meet the committee, be informed about activities at the School and share ideas. The dates for the FPA meetings are advertised in the fortnightly News Bulletin.
As an incorporated association, the Fintona Parents' Association is registered with the Victorian Consumer Affairs Department and therefore governed by the FPA Rules of Association. As regulated, the FPA is required to submit an Annual Financial Statement. This is done after the Financial Report has been adopted at the FPA Annual General Meeting held on the first Monday in March. You can nominate for a position on the FPA by completing the FPA Nomination Form.
