Another chapter ends

18 October 2016

Today at a special Assembly, students said farewell to the Class of Year 12. Hearing the School song for the last time brought a tear to the eye of many Year 12 girls as they acknowledged that a significant chapter of their lives was coming to a close. The promise of a bright future was symbolised through the presentation of 1000 origami cranes to the Year 12 Consuls by the Year 7 students, one of Fintona's most enduring traditions. These cranes will hang high above the heads of the Year 12 students whilst they complete their exam papers as a gesture of success and happiness.

We wish every girl from the Class of 2016, the very best of luck for their upcoming exams and for their future. We very much look forward to meeting these girls again at a School Reunion in the years to come. Goodbye girls and we will miss you.
