Careers

Offering guidance based on a student's strengths and talents.

For every student from Years 9 to 12, we provide individual guidance, support and information sessions and encourage our students to make decisions about their future pathways based on their capabilities and learning styles.

Years 10, 11 and 12 students and their parents are provided with up-to-date information about tertiary study and post school opportunities through a fortnightly Careers Newsletter, Careers Gazette.

Work Experience is a key componnet of the Careers Program and is completed by all students for a week at the end of Year 10.

In preparation for work experience, the girls carry out a range of vocational tests, are provided with tips on applying for positions and complete their Safe@Work Occupational Health and Safety certificates. In addition, students are provided with information about writing resumés and covering letters and are assisted to write their own resumé. Many students find their Work Experience a valuable tool in making decisions about their future career pathway.
