Philanthropy is truly ingrained in the Fintona spirit. Our new Annie Hughston Centre was realised through a concerted fundraising effort, to build a state-of-the art facility, in which our girls can utilise and appreciate, now and into the future.

Ways to support current and future Fintonians
Since our establishment, numerous members of our community have generously made significant gifts to support our students, contributing to buildings, scholarships, resources, and other programs.
Donations to the Scholarship Fund supports the learning and development opportunities of outstanding students. A gift of this nature can assist in attracting and retaining high-achieving students, recognising the attributes of well-rounded students, or giving students the opportunity to join Fintona.
As teaching and learning needs change, it is important to develop and renew facilities to inspire and prepare the girls for the future. Income from tuition fees covers the operating and general maintenance costs of the school; however, philanthropic giving transforms Fintona and the learning experience for our girls. Donations to the Building Fund enable the School to provide outstanding facilities for our students.
The Building Fund ensures that our magnificent buildings and expansive garden surrounds can be maintained for future generations.
Donations to the Library Fund will assist with improvements to our library resource environment, including functional and well-resourced spaces for learning, and connectivity, including electronic books and resource databases. This fund supports our objective to ensure the Resource Centre is a stimulating learning environment, offering a combination of a research hub, the latest technologies and study facilities with social spaces.
Your donation will assist us in providing resources for the benefit of our students, both now and into the future.
Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts
A major gift is a substantial contribution that makes a transformative impact on the lives of our students.
Over the years Fintona has sought donations to fund major building projects designed to enhance the educational space for our students. Thanks to the philanthropic support of Tourmont Incorporated and the generosity of current parents, old Fintonians and staff, $2.2 million dollars was raised for the Annie Hughston Centre.
Any gift you generously make to Fintona will continue to transform the education of our girls so they can take their place as confident, curious, creative, critical thinkers in the world.
All donations may be made a via a single gift or pledge over three years and are tax deductible.
