This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, Al

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, guided a week of learning, reflection and connection across our School.

Students and staff experienced Indigenous music, art and storytelling, and enjoyed Indigenous-inspired food experiences. Reconciliation Week assemblies featured student presentations and powerful choir performances of Midnight Oil’s 'Beds Are Burning'. First Nations guests shared their stories and the importance of listening, understanding and respect.

We also raised funds for Children’s Ground, supporting opportunities for First Nations children and communities.

As our Year 9 students prepare for their first exa

As our Year 9 students prepare for their first exams, this morning’s annual Pancake Breakfast provided an opportunity for them to connect with Year 12 students over breakfast.

The Year 12s shared exam advice, encouragement and handwritten messages of support as the younger students prepare for this important milestone.

Our ELC children recently welcomed a special visit

Our ELC children recently welcomed a special visitor, Dr David, a GP and current parent who shared what it’s like to work as a doctor and help people stay healthy. 👨🏻‍⚕️

Using a magical gel called ‘Glitterbug’ and a special light, students were able to see just how many germs were hiding on their hands. After carefully washing them, they checked the results under the light to see how effective their handwashing had been.

Dr David also introduced some of the instruments he uses every day, including a stethoscope and otoscope. The toy 'patients' received thorough check-ups, a few bandages, and plenty of care as students learnt about the important role of doctors.

Our Junior School Cross Country was a fantastic display of endurance, determination and House spirit, with students encouraging and cheering each other on throughout the event.🏃🏻‍♀️

Congratulations to all students who participated, and especially to Reid House for being crowned this year’s Cross Country champions.🏆
