Benefits of our Playgroup
Welcome to our Playgroup at Fintona Girls’ School, where we embrace the joy of early learning through connections and play.
Our Playgroup provides a relaxed yet stimulating environment for you and your child to bond and engage in diverse learning experiences. Each session offers a variety of play and learning activities. Throughout the Term we rotate specialist activities such as art making, storytelling, music and movement to enrich their learning.
Fintona’s Playgroup offers children the opportunity to develop essential communication and motor skills, engage in cooperative play, and expand their sensory and spatial awareness. Additionally, it helps build literacy skills in a social setting and familiarises children and families within our School environment.
As your child explores and learns through play, they will develop essential social and practical skills, laying a strong foundation for their early education journey. Our playgroup also offers parents a chance to mingle with families in the local area and spend quality bonding time with their children in a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment and gain insights into our approach to early learning.

‘Fintona Playgroup is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with one another while their children explore, play, and begin forming their earliest friendships. It’s a gentle way for young learners to become familiar with our School community, the spaces, and the people who will support them as they grow.’
