Fintona's scholarships support a diverse range of students to do it well.
Academic Scholarship and Music Scholarship applications are now open for students entering Years 5 to 10 in 2027.
The Scholarship exam will be held on 14 February 2026.

To apply for a Fintona Scholarship please visit Edutest website and complete the application form. Please note the key dates:
- Closing date for applications: Friday 6 February 2026
- Scholarship test: Saturday 14 February 2026
Parents of students who are successful in the scholarship exam will be contacted by phone. We do not share Edutest results with families.
Acceptance of a scholarship is required within seven days of an offer.
There are three types of Scholarships available, they are: Academic Excellence Scholarships, Music/Academic Excellence Scholarships and Music Excellence Scholarships. To read more about them and their requirements please visit the Scholarships page.
New and enrolled students from Years 5 – 10 entering in 2027, Fintona’s scholarships are only open to domestic students.
