Class of 2025 VCE Results
Today we celebrate the academic achievements of the Class of 2025.
The achievements of the Class of 2025, and of every student, have been cultivated through the dedication of our extraordinary staff. Their guidance has nurtured curiosity, stretched thinking, and inspired students to step beyond what they believed was possible. Through their care, encouragement, and high expectations, they have created the environment in which our students can thrive, contribute, and discover their best selves.
Together, students and staff have shaped a year defined not only by success, but by connection, contribution, and a powerful sense of belonging; qualities that continue to strengthen the heart of our School and support all to do what they do well.
Principal Rachael Falloon said: ‘Our Year 12 students have modelled integrity, leadership, and kindness in every aspect of school life. It is especially pleasing to see students achieving strong academic results while also maintaining their wellbeing and engagement in co-curricular activities. Whether through contributions to sport, creative arts, student leadership or community service, they have shown a commitment to making Fintona a welcoming, vibrant place. This cohort has epitomised what it means to be a team and have been exceptional role models and leaders.’
We proudly celebrate the outstanding VCE achievements of the Class of 2025, reflecting the school’s enduring tradition of academic excellence and student dedication.
Fintona’s VCE success would not be possible without the dedication and guidance of expert staff who have supported our students throughout their time at Fintona.

Jessica Leung
DUX 99.7
Since Jessica’s commencement at Fintona in Year 6, 2019, and throughout her time at the school, she has been an exemplary student, who has been engaged and dedicated to all aspects of her education. Being awarded the GWAD at the end of Year 7 speaks to the calibre of student she was then and has always been.
Jessica has represented the school in a long list of competitions – state and national, Olympiads, and with involvement in a wide range of sporting teams and Music Ensembles, she has displayed a passion for all the school has to offer. An accomplished musician, she has been a highly valued member of the Chamber Orchestra, Tourmont Band, Symphonic Ensemble and Wind Ensemble.
Selected as Deputy Consul of the School this year, Jessica has supported the leadership of the student body and has been a fine role model for younger students, through the passion she displayed for all the school has to offer, and the way in which she has engaged with her peers, and other students.
In her VCE years, Jessica’s subjects of choice were Economics, English, Chemistry, Specialist Maths, Maths Methods, Biology and Latin. Her commitment to her studies and her work ethic have resulted in her extraordinary VCE results.
More broadly, her involvement in a wide range of pursuits, including drama, debating, Duke of Edinburgh and school clubs, also speaks to her competency in everything she undertakes.
In addition to her academic studies and achievements, Jessica has also participated in Rowing and in the full suite of competitions for her House throughout her time at Fintona, and has been involved and competed in many GSV Sports, including AFL, Cross Country, Triathlon, Swimming and Hockey; in addition to Rowing.
Jessica, in her engagement with her peers, teachers and anyone with whom she has worked has demonstrated the finest qualities of a Fintonian, of doing what she does well in all she puts her mind to, and in the celebration of others.
We congratulate Jessica on this remarkable achievement and wish her every success in the future.
