Setting the Stage for the Future

Rising steadily from the centre of our grounds, Fintona’s new three-storey Performing Arts Centre is beginning to transform the landscape and with it, the future opportunities available to our students.

Designed to empower girls to pursue their passions and strengthen their skills in drama, music, debating, public speaking and production, this landmark building will become a vibrant home for creativity, confidence and expression, alongside key community events.

The scale of the project is becoming powerfully visible. Its presence can now be felt across the School as works continue on schedule toward a grand opening early in 2027.

At the heart of this building will sit a spectacular 550-seat auditorium spanning two levels, complemented by dedicated music and drama classrooms, practice and ensemble rooms, and a black box studio. Together, these spaces will provide students with opportunities to step into the spotlight, find their voice, and connect with audiences through the transformative power of performance.

This will be a place where girls are encouraged to take creative risks, collaborate with confidence and discover the strength of self-expression.

Along with PV cells on the roof, the School is also undertaking a significant upgrade to its electrical infrastructure in partnership with CitiPower, an important investment that will help future-proof Fintona for decades to come.

As this exciting project continues to rise, so too does the promise of what it will make possible: a place where imagination is nurtured, talent is developed and Fintona girls are inspired.
