This year’s VCE Art and Design Show was officially opened on Tuesday 10 October by Melbourne-based Artist, Troy Emery.
This exhibition, the last in the Fintona series, showcases work from VCE Art Creative Practice and VCE Visual Communication Design classes and is a representation of the continued hard work and commitment of our students.
All artworks and designs are underpinned by extensive research, personal exploration, and robust conceptual development that the artists and designers have undertaken through the course of this year.
A range of media and processes including digital illustration, photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, film, and collage have been used to create the work. There is still time to see the Show, today and tomorrow Tuesday 17 October, between 3.30pm and 5.00pm, and we encourage you to visit the Corbett Lyon Gallery if you can.
We thank Troy for taking the time to come back to Fintona to open the Show and we congratulate our most senior students on all they have achieved and wish them well for the upcoming examination period. To the Class of 2023, we wish you every success in all your endeavours, creative or otherwise.
